Waking up in Amsterdam!

Once upon a time in Amsterdam, in a gezellig bar in the Jordaan, on a certain girl’s B-Day…

One of Prinses Eva’s best buds, the beautiful and brilliant Anna, asked my advice on which city in the U.S. she should go to for an internship. Her choices were Atlanta or Chicago.

Y’all KNOW my answer, right?!?

I’ve been to Atlanta, it’s cool…

But, I’m actually from Chicago, so my recommendation was clear and unambiguous!

And that’s where she is right now!

So I sent her a list of a bunch of stuff she should try to do before she came back home, turns out that she’s been running it as a checklist! (Me=SO proud!)

We’ve done the Hancock Building! We were there just in time to see day turn into evening (beautiful sunset!!!). And Second City has been real good fun! Loads of Obamajokes. Unfortunately they don’t do tours of Wrigley Field off season (which, you’re right, starts in April, so we’re going to miss it; leaving March 27). We ate the deep dish…  Read More pizza (my God, good they do doggybags here). Seen the Blackhawks play (which was great fun) and Chicago Bulls (a little more boring).
